Wildbrumby.com

Site at a glance

Standing rules for this site

  • Multisite: always use wp core update-db --network and run wp wc update per subsite. The main site is frequently already current while the subsites are far behind — in the 2026-08-10 run wholesale needed 3 WooCommerce DB routines and the archived bmwholesale needed 14.
  • Xero is deactivated on STAGING only (blogs 1 and 2). It must stay ACTIVE on production — never replay that deactivation.
  • Staging carries production SMTP credentials. Never run an order-status test on staging without first installing the mail-block must-use plugin, or real customers get emailed.
  • ELEX AusPost has no update channel and carries a non-durable local patch (an array_merge null-guard). Zips must be pulled by hand from elextensions.com, and the patch re-applied after any update.
  • Do not delete wp-content/uploads/useanyfont/190508022811JohannSparkling.woff2 — use-any-font 6.4+ references it and 404s on every page load without it.
  • user-registration-content-restriction must remain in its .disabled folder — it has a history of causing a critical error on the wholesale subsite.
  • Known non-faults: bmwholesale returns HTTP 410, and wholesale.wildbrumby.com/shop/ returns 404 — the portal does not use that URL.

Open items

  • Product edits on the main site no longer copy to wholesale — WooMultistore has not propagated changes since at least June 2026 (found 2026-09-22). Needs its own ticket.
  • Wholesale invoice emails are off — the customer “Completed order” email is disabled; waiting on Candace to confirm when invoices should be sent.
  • Archived bmwholesale still calls Stripe with an invalid live key — proposed: disable Stripe on that subsite.
  • woocommerce-xero has no update path — 1.9.12 installed, 1.9.14 offered with an empty download. Confirmed on live 2026-08-27, so it is a genuine subscription gap rather than a staging-clone artefact. Not held in the Blaze vault. Needs a purchase, a renewal, or a formal decision to accept it frozen. The other five in this group were resolved on 2026-08-27 by sourcing them to the vault.
  • Yoast SEO update suppression — RESOLVED 2026-09-23. Clean reinstall of 28.5 from wordpress.org; updates now appear normally.
  • Wholesale admin performance — ~1.1 s WordPress bootstrap floor, admin-ajax ~1.35 s. The autoload-bloat theory was tested and disproved. Needs a dedicated profiling task.
  • wp-2fa is not installed — deliberately, since network-activating 2FA across ~800 wholesale customer accounts is not a maintenance-run side-effect.
